Full Container Shipping
Your household.
Your container.
A dedicated container is the right choice when you are moving a furnished home—or simply want your shipment packed, loaded and sent without waiting for consolidation.
The big picture
What is a container shipment?
A full container shipment gives your family the use of an entire ocean container. It is normally the best fit for a furnished apartment or house, larger quantities of furniture, or a shipment too large to move economically as a partial shipment.
Our service includes professional packing at your home, loading the container, ocean freight, customs-clearance assistance and delivery to your residence in Israel.
- Your goods are not combined with other families’ shipments.
- The container is sealed after loading.
- Pricing is based on the container size and services in your proposal.
Choosing the right size
Three common container options
The amount that fits depends on the furniture, packing and how efficiently the goods can be loaded. These volumes are practical planning guidelines—not guarantees.
20′ Container
About 1,000 cubic feetOften appropriate for a modest furnished apartment or a carefully selected household shipment.
40′ Container
About 2,000 cubic feetA common choice for a larger furnished home with furniture, appliances, boxes and personal belongings.
40′ HC Container
About 2,400 cubic feetSimilar in length to a standard 40′ container, with additional interior height for a larger household.
The container’s physical capacity and the volume used for planning are not always identical. Doorways, furniture shapes, protective packing and safe loading all affect what can be accommodated.
From your home to Israel
The container shipping process
A dedicated container follows a more direct schedule than a partial shipment because there is no need to wait for other shipments to fill the container.
Plan
We review your inventory, location, destination and expected moving dates to select the right container.
Pack
The crew professionally packs your belongings. A 20′ container is usually a one-day job; a 40′ shipment may require two days.
Load
Your goods are loaded and secured inside the container. After loading, the container is sealed for transport.
Ship
The container is returned to the port and placed on its scheduled sailing to Israel.

Before packing day
A little preparation makes a big difference
The most successful packing days begin with a clear decision about what is shipping and what is staying behind.
- Separate anything that should not be packed.
- Secure passports, visas, important documents, medication, tallit and tefillin.
- Complete a final walk-through before the crew leaves.
- Point out fragile, unusual or extra-heavy items in advance.
- Keep self-packed boxes open so their contents can be listed on the inventory.
Pricing clarity
Situations that may create additional charges
Your proposal explains the normal services included in the quoted rate. Additional charges apply only when the shipment or access requires services beyond the normal scope.
Difficult access
Long carries, shuttle service, parking restrictions or access that prevents the container or normal delivery truck from reaching the residence.
Stairs or outside elevator
Delivery above the included floor without a suitable elevator, outside steps or the need for an external elevator.
Unusual or extra-heavy items
Pianos, safes, oversized glass or marble, and items requiring special handling or custom crating.
Waiting time or storage
Delays outside the normal service, extra warehouse storage, or port charges caused by circumstances beyond the included allowance.
Questions people ask
Container shipment FAQ
How do I know which container size I need?
Begin with our Volume Calculator or send us a detailed list of the furniture and belongings you plan to ship. We will help you choose the most appropriate option. The final fit depends on the packed items and the way they load into the container.
Does a container shipment wait for consolidation?
No. Unlike a partial shipment, a full container does not wait for other families’ goods. It can move to the port after packing, loading and booking arrangements are complete.
Do I need to pack my own boxes?
No. Door-to-door container service includes professional packing, standard boxes and supplies. If you choose to pack some non-breakable belongings yourself, leave the boxes open for inventory verification. Self-packed goods generally cannot be insured for damage.
Can I ship less than a full household in a container?
Yes. You do not need to fill every inch of the container. However, if your shipment is substantially smaller, a partial shipment may be more economical.
When is my final price known?
A full-container proposal is generally based on the selected container and stated services. Changes in the shipment, special packing, difficult access, port-related costs or other services outside the proposal can affect the final amount.
How long will delivery take after the container arrives?
Container delivery is commonly about one week after arrival, plus or minus, once customs clearance, port release and payment requirements have been completed.
