One of the most common concerns people have when planning their aliyah shipment is, “What if I don’t know my address in Israel yet?”
The good news is that in most cases, you do not need to know your final delivery address when booking your shipment. Many customers reserve their shipment months before they know exactly where they will be living.
A few important points:
- Your delivery address can usually be updated later.
- If an address is required for paperwork or booking purposes, a friend’s or relative’s address can often be used temporarily.
- The final delivery address is typically confirmed closer to the time of delivery.
Before delivery in Israel, we will ask you to complete a Delivery information form. This form provides important details that help us plan a smooth delivery, including:
- Delivery address
- Floor number
- Elevator availability
- Parking and truck access
- Special delivery requirements
This is the stage when we need the most accurate and up-to-date information about your new residence.
If your housing plans change during the shipping process, don’t worry. Changes are common, and we can usually update the delivery information once your final address is known.
The important thing is to start planning your shipment when you’re ready—not to wait until every detail of your move is finalized.
