Moving day can feel overwhelming, but a professional packing crew brings order, speed, and confidence to the process. Typically, a crew consists of three people, and one of them is the crew chief. The crew chief oversees the work, answers questions, and makes sure everything is packed according to the proper international shipping standards.

Most crew members do not speak English fluently, but one person on the team will, usually the crew chief. This ensures that communication with the customer remains clear and smooth throughout the packing day.

In 16 years of shipping, thank God, we have had only a handful of complaints about the crews. That kind of track record reflects their professionalism and dedication. The crews are courteous, efficient, and genuinely want to provide good service. They understand that they are handling people’s personal belongings—often items with deep sentimental value—and they treat them with care and respect. Like many service professionals, they also appreciate tips when customers feel the service was especially good.

The packing crew has the most important role in the shipment. Proper packing is what protects your belongings during handling, transport, and the long journey overseas. A well-packed shipment means fewer problems, less stress, and a smoother arrival at your new home.

In short, the packing crew is the foundation of a successful move, and their work makes all the difference.

On a personal note, we are very grateful for their diligence and consciousness. It gives us peace of mind and helps us sleep well at night, knowing we can continue helping olim and returning Israelis with their shipments.

Fun Fact!

While on the subject of the packing crew, I did a little approximating and determined that our packing crews packed about 95,000 boxes, equating to more than 250,000 cubic feet.
